DESCRIPTION:Enjoy an afternoon of family fun at the BSRC with free activities for all ages\, including skating\, swimming\, coed lacrosse\, basketball games\, climbing\, crafts\, glitter tattoos and more. \nPublic skating\nLace up your skates and glide across the ice! Helmets are required for kids 17 and under\, and skate aids are available for beginners. Flood at 2:30 pm if needed. Review the arena rules >> \nPublic swim\nSwimming is perfect for kids and adults to burn energy\, practice water skills\, and have fun in a safe\, supervised environment. Supervision rules: \n\n7 years and younger must be supervised and within arm’s reach of a guardian 14 years of age and older\n14 years of age or older can supervise a maximum of 3 children under the age of 8\n\nLacrosse with the Beaumont Raiders\nLearn Canada’s fastest-growing sport! Sessions are organized by age group: \n\nUnder 7: noon to 1 pm\nUnder 9: 1 to 2 pm\nUnder 11: 2 to 3 pm\nUnder 13: 3 pm to 4 pm\n\nSticks will be provided but CSA-approved helmets and indoor shoes* are required. \nGymnasium games\nEast side: Sportball is excited to host games and activities for ages 3-7!\nWest side: NBA All-Star style obstacle course with the Beaumont Youth Basketball Association – test agility\, speed\, and balance! \nIndoor shoes* are required. \n*NOTE: Appropriate indoor shoes are fully enclosed (no bare or socked toes showing)\, clean and non-marking. \nChantal Bérubé Youth Centre (CBYC) Dungeon Zone\nThe CBYC will bring your imagination to life with a 30 minute intro into Dungeon & Dragons. \nThe Arch Climbing Wall\nReach new heights at the climbing wall! Waivers required; safety gear and supervision provided. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult. \nCraft activities\nGet creative! Make friendship bracelets to take home. \nGlitter tattoos\nAdd some sparkle to your day with fun\, temporary glitter tattoos courtesy of the Bibliothèque de Beaumont Library. \nQuiet room\nFor visitors who need a quieter space\, the quiet room offers low lighting and reduced noise. A safe and comfortable space to regroup and enjoy the event at your own pace. \nNew location\nPlease note the change of location from last year’s Family Day celebration at the CCBCC. DESCRIPTION:Get ready for Beaumont’s first-ever Teen Takeover — a FREE\, high-energy night just for youth ages 12–17! \nGood news: Registration has been extended from March 20 to March 22\, giving teens a bit more time to sign up.  \nImportant update: Ice skating and games rooms will not be available this time. We know some of you were excited for them\, but all the other activities are still going ahead for a fun and engaging night.  \nTeens can enjoy exclusive access to a variety of activities throughout the evening\, including a live DJ dance party\, swimming\, climbing wall challenges\, Sportball games\, community booths and more. Concession items will be available for purchase. \nThis fully supervised event is designed to give teens a fun\, safe space to connect\, move and try something new. \nRegistration is required. Spots are limited and registration closes March 22.\nCourse ID: 20864 \nRegister online through Click-it or call BSRC Guest Services at 780-929-7946. \nImportant registration information: \n\nGuests cannot update contact information directly in Click-it. Updates must be completed in person or over the phone.\nParticipants must already have an account to register online. New accounts can only be created in person or over the phone.\n\nYouth are encouraged to bring a personal lock for their belongings.
