Fire Advisory Issued for Beaumont

Due to warm dry conditions, no new permits will be issued for any type of burning within Municipal Boundaries. Existing permits are still valid until expired or the advisory is increased to a Fire Restriction or Ban. Please use extreme caution when burning and call 911 immediately if you spot a wildfire.

Latest Update:

May 18, 2018 11:30 AM

Over the past 72 hours we have received some moisture in the form of rain which has helped to reduce the risk of wildfires, this amount varies throughout our area. Unfortunately the volume of rain received, coupled with the short and long term forecasts for our region, does not support the Town of Beaumont Fire Service removing our Fire Advisory.

Please note: A Fire Advisory is NOT a Fire Ban. A fire advisory allows residence holding a valid permit, to continue burning until such time as their permit expires. No new permits for any type of burning will be issued until conditions improve. In short, campfires in approved campfire rings/devices are still allowed providing you have a permit.
