Family Violence Prevention Month

November is Family Violence Prevention Month. It's up to all of us to work to end family violence and help spread the word about the resources available to people who may be experiencing it. To show your support for family violence prevention, wear purple this month and add the hashtags #WhereToTurn and #GoPurpleAB to your posts on social media.

If you or someone you know is affected by family violence, you can call the 24-hour Family Violence Info Line toll-free at 310-1818 to get help anonymously in more than 170 languages. More information on Family Violence Prevention Month and community events that are planned this month can be found at www.alberta.ca/EndFamilyViolence along with further information on this page.
