Lest we forget
Join the Beaumont Remembrance Day Committee, Town of Beaumont, 287 Beaumont ‘Spitfire’ Squadron Royal Canadian Air Cadets and 3rd Battalion, Princess Patricia’s Canadian Light Infantry to observe Remembrance Day 2016.
The outdoor service will be held in the parking lot of Eaglemont Christian Church starting at 10:45 a.m. A light luncheon will be held afterwards inside the church . Parking will be available in the church’s south parking lot and along 50th avenue. For information on laying a wreath during the ceremony, please contact Angela at 780-929-2848 or email@example.com.
The Beaumont Remembrance Day Committee is comprised of local citizens interested in making Remembrance Day a memorable event for the citizens of Beaumont. This eclectic group is made up of retired military, parents of active Armed Forces members, Beaumont Fire Department members, and private citizens of all career paths.

Winter Lights Contest
Beaumont’s annual residential lighting contest judges decorated houses on ‘buzz factor’ among other criteria. Contest winners are showcased online and in La Nouvelle Beaumont News. Nominate a residence to make sure it is included in the judging tour! Details and nomination form for this contest to come!
This is an opportunity for families to spend time together at the Aqua-Fit Centre; treats, toonie swim, crafts and activities will the day. Details on Family Day 2017 to come!

This annual September event is an opportunity for groups to help promote their programs, services, accept registrations, memberships and recruit volunteers. Please note that this evening is awareness for all community groups and should not be used for the only major registration.The Town has criteria for participating in this event. Groups must be offering leisure time or wellness opportunities and be:
Calling all Francophones and French language lovers! Come and celebrate our thriving Francophone community and the rich history of a strong French presence in Alberta. In March, communities across the province hold ceremonies to proudly raise the Franco-Albertan flag. Beaumont’s sixth annual ceremony and flag-raising will be held in front of Town Office. Entertainment and refreshments will follow. Details on this 2017 ceremony to come!
Calling all of our amazing community volunteers! Come and enjoy dinner, entertainment and presentation of the annual awards for the Philip Ki Jooh Oh Volunteer of the Year and Youth Volunteer of the Year. Please contact the Community Organization you volunteer with to register your attendance. Details on the 2017 evening to come!
Seen & Clean Challenge
A community clean-up challenge to celebrate spring and the melting of the snow! Choose a park, neighborhood or pathway in need of some TLC. Get some friendly competition going and challenge another group! Prizes are up for grabs for neighborhood and family teams.
Community Pancake Breakfast
Kick-off spring at this FREE Pancake Breakfast held the first Saturday in May. There will be activities for kids and a Community Fair of non-profit organizations and event sponsors with information and products for beautifying your outdoor spaces.

O Canada! Festivities begin with O Canada and celebratory cake in Four Seasons Park. Food trucks, bouncy houses, laser tag, bumber ball soccer, workshops, family dance, entertainment shows and fireworks to cap off the night. Help celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday in 2017 - details to come!
Alberta Cultural Days began in 2008 and grew from Alberta Arts Day into a pan-Canadian movement to raise the awareness, accessibility, participation and engagement of all Canadians in the arts and cultural life of their communities.
*Some events are organized by the Town of Beaumont’s Promotions Committee in collaboration with Beaumont’s Community Event Coordinators. This Committee consists of 12 members and is an active Committee that works throughout the year to coordinate and promote community activities.
