Statutory and outline plans are plans that have been approved by the Town of Beaumont Council.
The Municipal Development Plan (MDP) is required by the Municipal Government Act (MGA). It anticipates future land use requirements in Beaumont, and provides policy direction for it’s long term growth and development.
There is an Inter-Municipal Development Plan (IDP) between the Town of Beaumont and Leduc County.

The Central Area Redevelopment Plan (CARP) provides a framework for encouraging, and guiding development and redevelopment in the central area of Beaumont. The goal is to make the central area the major business, social, cultural, and entertainment focus of the community.
