To operate and/or advertise a business in the Town of Beaumont you must hold a current Town of Beaumont Business License. Business licenses need to be renewed annually and expire on December 31 of each year.

Completed applications can be mailed or dropped off with payment to the Town Office.
A charitable or non-profit organization conducting business or fundraising shall be exempt from licensing requirements.

Business License - Commercial - $90.00
Business License - Out of Town - $100.00
Home Builder/General Contractor (includes all sub-trades):
- In Town General Contractor Business License: $350.00
- Out of Town General Contractor Business License: $500.00
Home Based Business Licenses
Development Permit - $30.00
Notification Fee - $55.00
Business License - Home Based - $75.00
All businesses operating from a home require a development permit and a business license. Notification is placed in the local newspaper advising all residents of the new business (the development permit and the notification fee are one-time costs only). There is a 14-day appeal period in which appeals may be made to the Town Office. A $50.00 fee applies for each appeal.
