Beaumont Family and Community Support Services builds capacity with individuals, families and the community, through a respectful, coordinated and collaborative approach fostering supportive opportunities.  Our services include:

Community Development

Family & Youth Programming

Beaumont FCSS is pleased to provide various community supported youth programs such as:

  • HEROES™ – is a program that builds character, confidence and integrity provided in junior high and high schools in Beaumont.  For more information, call Brodie Stenhouse @ 780-929-3327.
  • Let’s Talk - Informative and engaging workshops are hosted at the Beaumont Community Youth Centre. For more information call Adrienne Asp @ 780-929-5155
  • Talk Club - A supportive group that provides a safe place for kids to talk and learn new coping skills, available in junior high schools . For more information, call Linda Mix-Kontratski @ 780-504-5969.

FAMILY VIOLENCE PREVENTION EDUCATION & AWARENESS

FCSS works with community stakeholders to build understanding about healthy relationships and strategies to prevent family violence.  For more information, call Jean Collins-Smith @ 780-929-1369.

Outreach Home Support Services

Services are available to seniors and persons with a disability requiring support to complete regular household tasks. Examples of tasks include light house cleaning, laundry, errands and meal preparation. For more information, call Jean Collins-Smith @ 780-929-1369.

Short term Counseling

Subsidized counseling services with a registered psychologist are available to Beaumont residents and families who are financially eligible. Subsidies are available to qualified Beaumont residents. For more information, call the Community Development Coordinators @ 780-929-1369 or 780-929-3327.

Youth Outreach

Our Youth Outreach Coordinator, Linda Mix-Kondratski, provides one-to-one sessions to youth in Beaumont at no cost. Contact Linda @ 780-504-5969 for more information.
