Hours of Operation

Sunday and Monday: Closed
Tuesday to Thursday: 3:30 – 8 p.m.
Friday and Saturday: 5 – 10 p.m. 


Established in 2004 the Beaumont Community Youth Centre is a drop-in centre for youth aged 12-17. Our membership is FREE. Please fill out a membership form with your parent/guardian and bring it in to the centre.

BCYC is a trendy facility that offers a safe and supervised environment where youth can mingle and socialize with peers and participate in various recreational, preventative and educational programs. With a membership of over 550 youth and new members arriving daily, the centre is a busy town facility.

The BCYC has weekly, monthly, and annual drop-in events such as:

 “Let’s Talk”

In partnership with FCSS, BCYC offers an educational program called “Let’s Talk”. This workshop includes a free meal to those who attend. This year, topics have included: Self Esteem, Healthy Relationships, Dinner with the Mayor and Council, Communication Skills, Nutrition, Getting to know the Beaumont RCMP and Wilderness Survival.

The BCYC now has a successful music program including a drum set, keyboard, guitar, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, electric guitar, djembes, bongos and percussion instruments. The youth are able to express themselves creatively and share their talents through Jam Nights, Gigs and through teaching each other.

Here are some things that the youth themselves have to say about BCYC...
