Family and Community Support Services (FCSS) provides individual and group services to strengthen the individual, the family and the community. Beaumont FCSS builds capacity with individuals, families and the community, through a respectful, coordinated and collaborative approach.
 

Information & Referrals


FCSS provides information regarding social and emotional supports that are available to residents of Beaumont. For more information, call the Community Development Coordinators at 780-929-1006.

Community Development & Asset Building


FCSS promotes, encourages and facilitates the development of stronger communities. To become involved or for more information about partnerships, grant opportunities and new community initiatives, contact the Community Development Coordinators at 780-929-1006.

Youth Programs & Support


Beaumont FCSS provides various youth programs through schools, the Chantal Berube Youth Center, workshops, Asset Building events and referrals. For more information, contact Brodie Stenhouse 780-929-1006. Our Youth Outreach Coordinator, Linda Mix-Kondratski, provides one-to-one solution focused counseling sessions to youth in Beaumont at no cost. Contact Linda at 780-504-5969 for more information.

Children & Family Programming & Support


Beaumont FCSS is pleased to provide various community supported children and family programs through schools, workshops, events and referrals. For more information contact Carey Cameron at 780-929-1006.

Seniors Services & Home Support Services


Support is available to assist seniors to filling out forms for Government forms, and access community resources. Services are available to support seniors with regular household tasks. Examples of tasks include light house cleaning, laundry, errands and meal preparation. For more information, call Kaylene McKinney, Community Development Coordinator at 780-929-1006.

Individual & Community Supports

 
FCSS provides support to residents through the Volunteer Income Tax Program, referrals for Christmas Elves, and subsidized counseling.  Please contact FCSS at 780-929-1006 for more information regarding eligibility for programs. 
 

Family Violence Prevention & Awareness


FCSS works with community stakeholders to build understanding about healthy relationships and strategies to prevent family violence as well as a Family Support and Intervention Program. For more information, contact Kaylene McKinney, Community Development Coordinator at 780-929-1006.
